TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
